From Quote to Commissioning — Turnkey

Consultation, Sales
& UPS Installation

Need a new UPS system or an upgrade? GDF Technologies guides you from initial consultation to final commissioning — including sizing, selection, delivery, and installation.

Our Approach

From need to solution

1

Needs Analysis

Audit of your electrical infrastructure, load analysis, identification of redundancy and runtime requirements.

2

Recommendation

Selection of the best UPS solution (brand, model, topology) tailored to your budget and requirements.

3

Installation

Delivery, positioning, cabling, SNMP configuration, and integration with your existing monitoring systems.

4

Commissioning

Startup testing (SAT), load validation, AS-BUILT documentation, and manufacturer warranty activation.

Our Services

Consultation & electrical design

📋

UPS Sizing

Precise calculation of required power (kVA/kW) based on your critical loads. Avoids costly oversizing and dangerous undersizing.

🔄

Redundancy Planning

N+1, 2N, or 2N+1 architecture based on your criticality level. Parallel configuration, automatic failover, and bypass integration.

Generator Integration

UPS-generator coordination for extended runtime. Automatic transfer switch (ATS) configuration and sequence testing.

🌡️

Thermal Management

Cooling planning for UPS and battery rooms. Integration with HVAC systems and temperature monitoring.

📱

Remote Monitoring

SNMP configuration, integration with your monitoring platforms (BMS, DCIM), and automated email alerts.

📝

Complete Documentation

AS-BUILT drawings, commissioning reports, CSA compliance certificates, and bilingual operating manuals.

Manufacturer-independent — We recommend the best solution for your infrastructure, not the one that generates the best commission. APC, Eaton, Vertiv, Delta, Tripp Lite, and more. Email support@gdftech.com

How a UPS project runs with GDF Technologies

First, the load assessment: we ask for your load list, panel details or photos, the runtime you need and the room constraints. Second, sizing and options: single phase or three phase, runtime target, redundancy if the load justifies it, and battery chemistry. Third, a written proposal covering the equipment, the installation scope and what happens to the old unit. Fourth, installation coordination: delivery logistics, licensed electricians for the electrical work, and after hours cutover when the load cannot drop during business hours. Fifth, commissioning: load test, transfer test, alarm and monitoring setup, and a walkthrough before sign off.

We supply and install every major brand, including APC by Schneider Electric, Eaton, Delta and Xtreme Power Conversion, and we service what we sell afterward. For large systems, start with the three phase UPS page.

What to have ready before the first call

A list of the equipment to protect with nameplate watts where available, photos of the electrical panel and the room, the runtime you expect on battery, and any growth plans for the next 2 to 3 years. If you have none of that, start anyway: the runtime calculator frames the numbers and we fill the gaps during the assessment.

Do you only install equipment you sell?

No. We install owner supplied units, replace aging systems from any manufacturer, and take over maintenance of existing fleets.

How long does a project take?

Scheduling depends on scope and equipment availability. Small single phase swaps move quickly; three phase projects follow delivery and electrical coordination. The proposal states the plan for your case rather than a generic promise.
